Leghorns are great egg laying chickens. They are friendly to other Leghorns and can easily fly. The only problems is that they are bad in the pecking order and they can make a mess of the yard....

seem like a good breed, if i had the room i would probably raise a batch of them they seem like they would be a good 4h starter show bird...considering i dont see many of this breed in my class...

A Cochin, Sumatra and a Phoenix have hatched. Have a Silkie nearly zipped out and many others pipping.

They will be on their own today as we leave soon for the State Fair.

Hopefully their will be many of them in the incubator when we return home today.

1 hen, 1 chick and 1 roo happily living with 2 dogs, 1 cat, 1 goat, 2 horse and 100 + chickens. Never a dull day on the farm!

Well the thing is... i got them from a lady who said they were 'mixed breed' But she didn't tell me what mixed breeds!
