I just realized that there are a lot of topics in this genre about specific breeds of birds. But none for mutts. So i decided to start one knowing that these birds can also be quite lovely!! I don't have any pics of some myself right now, since they are all chicks, but once they grow up i will be sure to post some!! So go ahead and show off your mutts!!!

Well, there have been some mutt threads, but we're always eager to share photos. Here's Elphaba, probably hatched April-May, isn't laying yet. She's cochin and mystery parent. I bought her at Nava's swap a month ago and didn't bother to ask specifics. I am very very happy I bought her. She may be the most afraid of human touch, but she is the bosom buddy of an AS roo (pictured) I bought the same day. She has feathered feet which we love, but the original hens find great to pick off of her.
