Ya know we have been talking about the color of these. It's said that the German line are darker
than preferred here. The SOP illustration shows an orangy bird, but the color description reads
"medium chestnut red" for both body and hackle. I have some of both...which do you think is more
correct, the deeper color on the left and the pullets above, or the lighter on the right?

Hello!  Just picked up this thread and find it very exciting to see such beautiful New Hampshires. Who will be selling hatching eggs in the near future from this line?

Curious, are you THE Ron Presley? As in, Marans?



I believe kathyinmo often sells eggs as well as banjoejoe4783. They both have the same lines. smile

Thanks.  I have looking for correct New Hampshires for a long time.

Well...........I am Ron Presley and Cottage Hill Marans are mine. So I guess I am him.   lol
