How big/small is your town?

I thought this would be interesting to see. What's the population of the place you live?

My city has about 1,200,000 people in it. (Small by standards these days hide)

And if you REALLY live in the middle of nowhere.... well, here's one for you: my friend's "town" recently moved up in population from 9 to 11 wink I guess count the people who live with you lol

I grew up in a town of about 2000.

Now where I live, the closest town population (the town that my mail comes from) is 882.

I like it.

In 2009 it was listed as 21,400.  I've been here about 4 years and it's the smallest town I've ever lived in.

Owned by two old dogs (yellow lab and a big, red, fuzzy mutt) and four chickens (Buff Orpington, Barred Rock, and two Easter Eggers)

The town I live near (I'm in the 'burbs') has a population of 250.  I think most of them are retired.

We have 903 people at the last count. Two banks, part time doctor at county clinic. K through 6th grade at one school 7 through 12 at another. One part time vet. A hand full of churches. I love my town just the way it is.

Well our community population isn't listed, the nearest community is 883.  Although we share a zip code with 2 other communities.  Altogether perhaps 1500 people total in all 3 communities...

No banks, no stop lights, no police, 3 churches and 1 liquor store, that doubles as one of 2 stores.

Love it here!

One big messy, noisy flock...   Roughly 15 older members, 8 EE babies, 10 Cuckoo marans ( 10+ FBCM coming in April), 20 +  Alohas.  Yikes!  Chicken math strikes again ;)

In the 2000 census, my hometown had a grand total of.... 287. Oh, yeah. bun Looks like Gritty's the only one who's got me beaten so far.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.6 square miles (1.6 km2), all of it land.
