Hey everyone! Post your top five favorite chicken breeds! Mine are: Silkies, Easter Eggers, Salmon Faverolles, Ameraucanas, and Barred Rocks. big_smile

Delaware, Coronation Sussex, New Hampshire Red, OEGB, Serama

Polish, Araucanas, Oriental Gamefowl (includes Shamos, Asils, Brazilians, and Ga Noi) Ameraucanas, and French Marans.



I say Oriental Gamefowl because all of those to most people are easily confused or thought of as the same thing, and it's unfair to only name one of them.

Brown Leghorns also just because!

and Serama's
and ........

1. Easter Eggers (does that count? they're so cute and the eggs are beauties!)
2. Barred Rock
3. Delawares, and Orpingtons
4. Silkies...they're just so funny! big_smile
