Dumped cats and kittens! What to do?!

Our last cat we got when we observed someone dump them behind Walmarts. This is not an alley full of garbage, there's not a bite of food in site. People are just irresponsible and it's up to us to pick up their slack. Sad but true. The animals deserve better but wow the horse stories are killin me. Wow.
 
Those horse stories......I just can't believe it. Wow.

We don't live on a busy road or anything, it's kind of out of your way. Plus the neighbors would see you. So, no one has dumped any animals at our house specifically. I just see them around. The people who dumped the kittens just exited the freeway, dropped the cats off, and got back on the freeway. Easy, just the way they wanted.

I know, sad but true horror stories. Hate to tell you, but hundreds more just like them here in Fl. From big TB farms down to a pony in the back yard. With all the people out of work, it is the biggest problem down here. Do I feed my family or the horses. The TB farms I blame the owners, cut the losses, locked gates and left. Bill collectors found the starving horses, at least they were all turned out. Over 200 head not counting foals on dams side.
