Ours as well - pretty sure it is going to end up a hen since she has a much smaller comb than the others. Might end up like the middle chicken in this photo: http://pets.webshots.com/photo/2965654450045340780mpgCVt

Okay, picture time! Here is my newest blue calico at 3 weeks old. Pretty sure it's a cockerel based on behavior:

Here's my 10-week-old blue calico pullet from behind

And here's a kinda blurry picture from above (sorry!)

And my 10-week-old cockerel from the BCMC as well. He started out black mottled and now has red throughout and is beginning to get some buff spots in as well. He's very handsome. Not a very good shot, but it's just to get an idea of his coloring

And here's one more pullet I don't know the color on. She's starting to get more buff splashes in, but her base color is cream, not white

Fun colors! I really love the coloring of your calico cockeral. Can't wait to see what my guy will turn out looking like.

I know--they keep changing so much you have no idea what the final product will be. Looks like you have a handsome little guy :) I love how vibrant the colors are. How is his personality? All my cockerels so far have been very sweet but that blue calico chick in the first picture is a little snot... I'm planning on keeping him, so I'm really hoping he grows out of the attitude.

I just have to chime in! I love Lucky Pickins! I have ordered from her several times and I have always had good results. This last batch is now 10 weeks old. I tried some of her Calico Bantam Cochin eggs. I was not disappointed! I have gotten some beautifully colored chicks. I just thought I would share a few photos smile.png
