Is it being picked on by another bird ? It looks like an infection (Impetigo) to me and I would wash it with soap and water and put bacitracin ointment one it to see what happens.

Are you referring to the large white bare spot with pecked, broken feathers? No. It looks to me like someone's been eating her crest.

Yea, more is gone.  I put some pine tar stuff on them tonight.  If they still do it, I guess I'll have to move her.  : (

This the time of season changes and busy, busy activities !    New hatches, longer daylight hours etc. I do hope that everyone is busy and well !   My POLISH are happy and healthy wee.gif.............     plus !   Now I desire (want) more and more pretty polish chicks who (which) grow to be beautiful big, lusty egg makers (layers) .

DRAY   I sure do look forward to seeing pictures of you birds as they grow.   !!!   pop.gif

On 2-22-12 i had 12 Polish babies to hatch out.

They are purebred polish but of mixed colors so I'm wainting to see what colors and patterns they turn out.
