If I have chicks that are easy to sex, I have no problem determining the route to go. And so far it have been easy to rehome other male chicks but it sure can be a problem to have too many males if you have limited space and can not find some one who is willing to take them.
There is a big local poultry show scheduled for next week-end. Gee would it be wonderful to find some gorgeous bantam Polish at an affordable price. There is a good Polish breeder nearby and all of my bantam Polish are from her (
Tricia ) but what fun to find another source. I am impressed at the size egg that bantam Polish lay. However I have never had a LF Polish. I wonder ????????
Say what you mean, mean what you say, but do not say it meanly.

Anyway, they are hard to sex thats why I really hate hatching eggs. The adorable puffs are cute but I hate getting to many roosters and I have a hard time getting rid of them. Even at swaps it's amazing how no one wants them O.o
