I was lucky enough to get to Whole Foods today.  It is 60 miles away so I don't get to go often.  I had to pick up some folks at the Philly Airport.  Anyway, my husband and I just enjoyed a dinner of their store made vegan General Tso's Chicken.  Then for dessert, some vegan peanut butter fudge.  What a treat!  We follow vegetarian diets.  Have been vegan in the past.  Can see us going back to vegan sometime. I do it for ethical reasons, my husband for health reasons.  It works for us.  I didn't read through the whole thread so if I am somewhat off topic I apologize.  Just wanted to chime in.

I love foods of India, the middle east (to some extent) and Asian foods for that vegan/veggie fix.  Of course, there are increasingly more american foods worth noshing.

me too! I love Northern Indian food, Thai and Vietnamese food, and almost anything Middle Eastern.
Their foods always seem so healthy, balanced, and fresh tasting. It also doesn't hurt that no matter what restaurant I go to I know there's going to be something I can eat! droolin.gif
