Bug zappers:)

Thread Starter

Here in the south of Louisiana, we have lots of skitters and other nusiance bugs....so I have been using a bug zapper in the run.  In the mornings, when I go out to feed, I unplug it and use a fallen feather to knock the bugs out.  The girls just have the most fun eating the falling bugs.  Anyone else use them?

welcome-byc ebbykay!  We have one in our cow barn that is attached (open air) to the chicken coop.  Of course the hens don't get any benefit from it as far as snacking goes.  In the spring, we will have to consider relocating it for their enjoyment.  After all it is really all about them.  (Just ask them, they'll tell ya!)
