Well we have our old coop that is doing nothing at the moment. The ducks hang out underneath it.We are going to retire 4 hens next spring to the old coop. They can come out in the morning, fly into the yard and free range without care.we will lock them up in the coop at night.

The four hens are:

Jeckle - mixed cukoo miran
Noseeher - Partridge Rock
Whitie - white Leghorn
Gruesome - Bared Rock

They will be our bug eradicators, our gardeners, our mice exterminators, our dirt tillers, and self propelled lawn mowers.  big_smile

Oh the Bunyip’s very bad,And the Bunyip’s very bold,And they tell you that the Bunyip’s Now a thousand years old.
So you better come home quickly,And you better hide very soon,Or the Bunyip’s going to get you....

Soup chicken,,,,I just had a discussion with my Aunt and she wanted to know what a soup chicken was.I also told her you won't find one anymore in the supermarket because the way commercial chickens are raised. But see me in a couple of years when we start the chicken cycle. But I must admit they do have a special  attachment when they finally start to lay.
