Has anyone ever tried making a feather bouquet?  By the way, dmccan- your wreathes are beautiful!

here is some earrings i made from my birds i picked them up of the ground, and i dyed the guinea feather.

The animals at our house:


birds: 1 silver lcd polish,3 Gold lcd polish,2 Buff lcd polish, 3 Red crested red polish, 1 Blue polish, 2 silkies, and a BBR OBGB.


Others: Boer and nubian goats, horses,  dogs, fish, cats,  pigs.

I like the beads you used those are neet; how did you attach the featers to them? I tryed to put beads on the shaft of the feathers and they keept sliding down and messing up the feathers so i justed added a dangle to mine.

dmccann, I think you were asked this someplace before but what cleaning, preserving process do you use onyour feathers?  thanks

4 beloved small mutt rescued dogs. Raise Seramas since 2010 and starting on Calico bantam Cochins fall 2012.  Spring of 2013,  I now have a trio of bantam  partridge plymouth rocks and a pair of bantam silver penciled rocks.   Over 50, living on acreage in SW Missouri with lots of DIVINE DANCING BANTAMS!    SERAMA EGGS AVAILABLE, PM me. Seramas available spring 2013.
