I literally have room for 50-70 chickens to live comfortably in my new coup and run!!!

I can't decide on a breed!!! he.gif barnie.gif hu.gif

So I will be browsing the entire Swap in search of the very best birds at the swap(or at least the ones I like the most wink.png) that are in my price range.

I think this will prove to be quite challenging, but I'm up to the grueling task.

I imagine my free time at the swap will look something like this.

That's great, but I think it's cute how you think you'll have free time at the swap!!  lau.gif

So a quick update to my list.  I will make an actual updated list when Cloverleaf is ready to do another one....but I wanted to let people know that my lemon cuckoo orpington hatching eggs for that week have been reserved, so they are no longer going to be available.  Also, it looks like I will be removing d'uccle hatching eggs from my list altogether....sadly we lost our little d'uccle rooster today.  He flew into the wall and suffered fatal injuries.  He was startled by something, but I am not sure what.  We are very sad, and I am sure his girls miss him. So, no d'uccle eggs or chicks this time around.  We may get another rooster at some point, or I may just try to introduce his hens to my geberal bantam flock.

Definately looking forward to swap day!  I am trying to come home with less than I bring....but who knows what I will fall in love with :)

Lara, I'm sorry for your loss. Those are such pretty birds! I'm working on my "bring" list, I need to clear out some pens. I have a friend coming over to help photograph and document the birds I have available. Going to be a BIG list most likely, I've been hatching constantly since January 1.

Sorry to hear about your D'Uccle boy! I have many Little cockerels if you want to raise one up you can have. Hope to see you there! Really hope you find another Roo and continue breeding D'Uccle.

I have a buyer who is part of the ALBC breed conservancy who want the two Mottled Java cockerels so I won't have any pairs but I will Bring the girls if someone is interested in Mottled Java Pullets. Since I won't be bringing the boys I will bring a trio of pullets.

Hi guys,

So I was wondering if anyone might be interested in egg carriers. DH has been making them and can potentially make a few when we/he goes to pick up my stuff from the swap.

He made me this large one and it makes collecting eggs a snap and is lovely especially if you don't want them damaged for hatching. He can make them small 6 eggs or large 36+. Just depends on your needs. He can also make the holes in various sizes for serama/bantam or larger for duck/geese.

Let me know if you're at all interested and he'll start making some. We MAY be able to stain some if you're interested. I hope to do some wood burning on some for the fall.

What will you be asking for them?
