I'm not Français in the least, but I wanted to learn a new language (English get's little boring, eh? xD) so since my dad was learning Français I decided I would too.

i agree; english is boring :P

my sister wants to learn French. i used to, but thats when i heard my school has a German class :P and now i want to learn Japanese since i have the basics of German down. if i learn Japanese well enough one day, i'm going to try my hand at Russian 
 

Im about half Swede, my mother is almost full.  After Français, I wanted to learn Russian, but since I have no Russian in me, I think I might want to learn German instead.  *sigh!*  Too many choices.

Japanese?  Sweet, my bro wants to learn Jap, or Chinese, he can't decide.

1/4 Swede, 1/4 French, 1/2 mutt :P 

German is really fun ^^ and its easy since there are a lot of cognates

my sister knows Mandarin Chinese fluently :P
 

That's awesome, I only know English, Backwards language that I talk to myself in, and mirror writing fluently LOL.  

I know a teensy weensy bit of German, but really can't speak it.

I'm mostly German, Swedish, and who-knows-what..possibly some German-Jew in there...who knows?

i know English, German, and a few words here and there in different languages, including Swedish, French, Russian, Spanish, and Dutch

its funny cuz i have the smallest amount of British in me, and yet i have convinced people i am from England with my awesome British accent XD
