I'd like a gold Spitzhauben cockerel or eggs.

I'd like to understand color breeding better.

I'd like self restraint... and a new incubator. Do they go together?lol.png

Do not go where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

Hi! I share High Meadows Farm with my great husband and son, an Australian Shepherd, an Arab,

a Morgan, 3 cats,  Redcap, and Appenzeller Spitzhauben chickens.

Yep, I'm already planning for next year too. Here my want list:

Speckled Sussex (1 female)

Blue Laced Red Wyandotte (1 female, 1 male)

Silver Lakenvelder (1 female)

Silver Spangled Hamburg (1 female)

Americana/EE (which ever it ends up to be) (1 Female)

Delaware (1 Female)

Red Star (1 Male)

That was actually some of my list for this year that I didn't end up getting (I've decided to keep 6 chickens instead of 10 (also have six ducks/ducklings), until we move into a house with a bigger yard)

I'll probably end up with more than 10 chickens next year :D

I've got 2 cats, Dyllen and Star. I have 17 chickens; 3 BLRW, 3 mutts, 2 EEs, 2 White Rock roosters, 1 RIR, 1 White Leghorn, 1 Red Star, 1 Golden Campine, 1 unknown hen, 1 Partridge cochin, and 1  Golden Polish. I also have 1 Swedish/Black Indian Runner laying on 8 eggs.

I really want to get some: American games, Cubalayas and real Ameraucanas, all those in bantam. I'd also like to get four dog kennels, the ones that are four foot high by 10x10 for some new pens. And a new incubator, but that's on the "needs" list, really. Oh, and I need to build an outdoor brooding house/pen/shed.
