Anyone ever walk their chickens on a leash?

When stumbling onto this thread, I had to click on it, because when I first thought about getting chickens, I pictured myself walking down town with a chicken on a leash. I know it will happen now when they grow up. That will be the coolest!

I will try out the harness. Should I get an a harness that is meant for a chicken, or any random harness?

Thanks! Somewhere in this thread someone suggested a small dog harness or a cat harness. I bought a cheap one to try out but so far am having difficulty getting it on her!
 
My silver laced Cochin gets to go to the feed store with us every other month or so and she is pretty much famous there now after the first time I took her early spring. Go figure... never expected that to happen !
 
And to answer all the questions on the harnesses...
YES you can use dog and cat harnesses as long as the are the mesh ones.
I got mine at the dollar store and it works great next time I go to the feed store I will take a pic of her with her harness

I dont like the mesh dog/cat ones... They are hard to put on and (in my opinion) it stressed my little polish hen. Although, I want to get the mesh harness MyPetChicken.com. There's the link for it down below. It's made for chickens XD!
