What kind of trouble should we get into today..... We could chase the chicken under the horse trailer....... no, no, we did that this morning. We could take over the swimming pool from the swans...... no, no they fight back and chase us....... I want to flex my muscles

Hi, no I don't breed them as my pair is related. Id love to find an unrelated pair one day, I only got these because a friends had babies and i bought them from him. They are pretty easy to keep, they get a crane diet pellet from Mazuri along with layer , dog food and catfish chow. It is all free choice so they can pick what they want. Worm them like peafowl and give them a lot of space. Mine are pinioned and free range the property. I've had them from 3 months old, so I don't know if that makes a difference in me being able to free range them. They can be dangerous, when cornered or trying to handle them. They can peck at your eyes, face etc... But if handled from very young they can be friendlier. I do enjoy watching mine and they will get within 5 feet of me.
