So True, So True..........and my Icelandics... L..O..V..E...to go broody!! We'll just have to see what kind of timing they have this year!!.......runs off to check the calendar for Easter date.....................

My Icelandic broody loves to be broody but shoving eggs under her seems to have freaked her out and she bailed off the nest.
Maybe next time I'll let her keep the eggs she picks instead of pulling them and then trying to put some back under her.

Good, I need to work on my incubator! Grrrr! It is needing a lot of temp adjustments.

Well, my eggs are not gonna hatch on New Year's Day .... I didn't get them set.
I'll set them today, though, so they'll hatch a few days after everyone else's.
Well, I'm going to have to invest in a cabinet incubator. I'm just really tired of all of these little hatches of 20 or so...I think it would be nice to only have one brood a month instead of one a week.
Just sent some of Heinz's Iowa Blues home with MyABCs3 to empty my brooder, just in time for the batch to start popping like popcorn in the RCom. Hubby will LOVE that when he gets home!!
