What do you think I have here? I received them in a brown egg layer assortment from my pet chicken. They are the biggest of all the chicks and seem to be more on the dominant side. I thought buff orpington, then delaware, now thinking some sort of red breed...Thanks!  idunnocaf

The remaining 6 of my original 7 barred rocks are 3yrs old and happily divided between a friend and my mom.
Laying: 2 Partridge Rocks, 1 Columbian Wyandotte and 2 Black Australorps. 14 weeks: 3 bantam Araucana.
Cowed to chicken math and sharing my bedroom with 8 BBS Ameraucana mixes.

Breeding Welsummers and Barnevelders.

Having an Icelandic in the coop is like having a 2 year old in the house - they are into everything and don't follow the rules.

I have zero chicken willpower.

I have five hens and two pullets- one seven year old red star, Luna, one white leghorn, Sage, one SLW, Pepper, one adorable fluffy EE, Bedazzle, and one black star, Buckbeak. My two pullets are Nutella, my wheaten marans, thirty five weeks, (who is yet to lay an egg!), and her best friend, Sammy, seventeen weeks.

hmmmmmm I'm back to thinking I have buff orpingtons! Thanks for responding everyone. I will post another picture soon. Do you think My Pet Chicken knows its much more fun to try and guess the breed than just telling you what they send? wink
