Red Stars?

We bought five Red Star hens through Craigslist, and I wanted to check to see if that is actually what these are.

That's what they appear to be. Red Stars typically have the white tips on some feathers.

Yes, that's what these two look like to me!

Home to 8 pullets: 2 red sex links, black sex link, 2 RIRs, barred rock, white rock, silver laced wyandotte.... Plus one spoiled RIR cockerel.

Thank you all for taking a look.  I looked up Red Stars before buying these through Craigslist but wanted more confirmation.

Yes, mine were sold as Gold Stars....good chicken.

well they are red sex-links which are called by several different names and from what i can tell they all look different to. idk which ones you have from that pic though heres the cackle hatchery link the sex-links start on row 3 with the Cinnamon Queen.

as for gold stars they might be golden comets instead they are also on the site above

i am currently looking for sultans for my parents they keep asking me if i have seen for sale (birds or eggs) if you have any please pm me thanks.

i am looking for more d'uccles please pm me if you have any available (eggs only unless you live close to me), how much for a dozen, what colors you have, and if possable please send some pics of some of your breeders thank you

Red stars are great chickens! I have 4 and I really like them. Very friendly birds.

Wyandottes are my passion! BLR, SLW and Partridge.
If it blows black smoke and doesn't have sparkplugs... it's a REAL truck!
