From time to time we like to get a feel for who is on BYC. The question we've been wondering lately: How many of our peeps are really new to raising chickens and how many are old-timers?

I started with layers almost four years ago and started raising small batches of meat birds for our family about 3 years ago. We started a business raising meat birds in March of this year, so we've been doing higher volume production for only 7 months.
