deffently not d'uccles no feather feet. the lil black ones appear to be br maybe with the black splash down their legs the yellow looks like they might be partraige color, possably weslmer(sp)

Barnyard mix. Post pics in a couple months or more and we can guess again. We love the guessing game. We may also know more about their gender. You guys are gonna have a beautiful flock and a super great time with these dittles. Congrats!wee

x2 - not EEs because the legs are yellow. Most likely mixed breeds. some of those turn out very interesting!

I agree that these are mixes.  I'd say a dash of Welsummer, a dose of EE, a splash of Australorp, a pinch of RIR ,and viola!  cuties!

To be honest, from everything I've heard of the Amish and their chicken raising (used to visit Amish country every Xmas, what a treat!), they arn't too hung up on breeds.

You'll have sturdy dual-purpose birds, if my guess is right. smile
