Well, those saddle feathers definitely mean male. If the eggs are coming from him, maybe he's a gynandromorph? idunno Perhaps try separating him to see see if he really is laying, or if the blue eggs continue to show up in his absence.

Slave of: 1 Buff Orpington hen, 2 Australorp hens, 4 Hamburg hens, 1 Rhode Island Red hen, 3 Easter Egger hens, 4 Buckeye hens, 3 Ancona hens, 3 Welsummer hen, 1 Ameraucana hen, 1 Marans hen, a bunch of roosters, 7 cats, 1 Boxer mix, 15 ducks and a hive of honeybees.

Yep as mentioned before you probably aren't aware you've got an EE who's sneaking in there. That is a definite Ameraucana cockerel.

I betcha the one in the first picture is laying your blue egg. (the one in front - the one in the back is a cockerel)  A green egg is simply a blue egg with a brown coating. (spray paint)  So if the paint booth gets skipped and the paint is not applied, you will get a blue egg.

Breeding Welsummers and Barnevelders.

Having an Icelandic in the coop is like having a 2 year old in the house - they are into everything and don't follow the rules.

I have zero chicken willpower.

I have heard of dominate hens crowing.
My EE hen...looks like a roo...but defiantly laying eggs

Try putting food coloring on the vent of the bird in question.

If you get an egg with a colored dot  ta-da you have a hen.
