Green eggs

how on earth do you inject food dye into the egg without affecting the integrity of the bloom, or the sterility of the egg so that it can still hatch? That sounds difficult!...is that really how they make easter chicks different colors?

Yes it is and I'm starting to fall asleep or I'd explain better, but very slim needle. People use wax and glue and tape cracked eggs and get then to hatch too.

You can do a search here on the forums to find more info though.

I really am tired. More typos than usual. LOL

Oh and most times these days, the chicks are usually dyed after hatch. It;s against the law to dye them for sale, but not for personal use. And yes they dye goes away when they start to feather out.

nity nite
