Nicola's right, the expansions usually have quite a few bugs when they're first released. There are a lot of people on The Sims 3 forum that are having problems with the pets looking weird. I haven't had any problems with that or the game freezing, but I just got a new computer in Sept. On my old one the game was bad about freezing even when I'd remove all of the custom content. The only glitches that I've had happen so far is that some of the custom content that I just downloaded isn't working and a couple of cats have requested makeovers in the stylist profession. Hopefully it won't be long before EA releases a patch.
