Okay 5 Ducklings drying and more zipping, 1 Blue Palm poult, 1 Chocolate Poult and 1 Japanese  I will get some pictures as soon as this turkey pen is done and all are in there new beds

I have 7 Breeds of Turkeys Chocolate, Blue Palm, Royal Palm, Bourbon Red, Narragansett, Silver Auburn and Midget White. Chickens Breeds Brown Leghorns, Rhode Island Reds, Plymouth Barred Rocks, Buff Orpingotns, Lavender Orpingotns and White Orpingotns.  Ducks: Breeds Black East Indies, Muscovy, Mallards and Mandarin. Others: Coturnix, Chukars, Ringneck Pheasants, Japanese Bantams and Silkies

10 ducklings, 2 Turkeys and 2 Japanese have hatched.

I have little Silky egg that has a hole in it now and another one with a chip in it. Hurry up little chickiez I need to see some fuzzy butts

OMy, co grats on the new hatchlings, very cute

Iain comgrats on winning those eggs last night, goose update this morning?

Lots of winds and rain last night, skies are grey currently so hoping the rain is done so the chicks in the grow out pens can be uncovered.

ok guys im kinda worrying now.

and not just my usualy worry bcuz im me thing.

 

egg #1 . the one trying to pip early.

isnt moving atall .

i cant hear him poking at the air cell anymore

there is kind of just a dark spot where he was pecking at?

im so confused.

 

 

 

and the other egg egg #2.

its air cell looks funny?

about a quarter sized spot of it kind of looks darker then the rest? its in the opposite area of where he is working. 

what could cause this?

but he is still working away pecking.

 

its a zoo here:

7 call duck....2 geese -1 female saddleback pom. ....1american buff.

8 bantam cochins(2 roosters, 6 hens)....

2 silkie hens.....6 guineas.

6 goats.....2 ponies....3beef cows.

an african grey parrot....2 fish tanks...

4 hermit crabs... 2 betas... 2 african dwarf frogs.

11 call ducklings (some for sale).. 8 silkie chicks.

and eggs in the bator & under broody

i'm literly about to start crying at this point.

i had a horrible night fighting with the boyfriend.

and i just want my eggs to be ok.

celtic, qj, julie.

someone that knows wats going on please get on soon.

im so ******** worried about this egg.

 i cant hear his heartbeat, or him pecking atall anymore.

 

i'll try to check back on here as  much as i can at class.

CG, you can always take egg 1 into a bathroom after steaming it up from running pure hot water in the shower. Turn the lights off, candle the egg and using a needle or pair of sharp tweezers pip the shell some to give the duckling air and check on it visually. Otherwise it becomes a waiting game. Ducklings do rat after lots of work and can take for ever to actually hatch out.

CG: X2 .   And I don't know why that darkness happens.  I've noticed on mine there is discoloration where they are pecking at the shell.  It's like a light brown, and it's always where they're beak is.  Could that be it?

Maybe there's a full moon, cuz my hubby turned on me last night too.
