Have any of you went and seen all the crazy and brilliant plans for homemade incubators here at BYC?

 

I have found two really good ones that are so close to my moms good sportsman (Wish I could afford that!  But then, how could I buy eggs on EBAY???)  I'm gonna have to up the trade with DH to get him to make it for me.

 

Any creative suggestions???  LOL  (come on Jaz, I'm counting on you here)

 

Why don't sheep shrink in the rain?

 

 

Why is there brail at drive up ATMs??

 

 

Why are their floatation devices instead of parachutes in my airplain seat???

 

 

If a tree falls in the woods and my husband doesn't hear it, am I still wrong????

Why are their floatation devices instead of parachutes in my airplain seat???

My hubby was looking at building one before I bought my cabinet.  There was one on YouTube that was petty cool & looking nice to.

LaGenia, bring your temp back up, don't open the eggs as that can shrink wrap the ducklings as they try and move to pip and hatch.

What do you use?  I've looked at the cabinets with turners and hatchers (I want both), but they are all a little pricy for my low budget bird operation.  I just want the convenience.  This year I'm always an incubator shy of what I need, or one doens't quite work perfect without a mid sleep visit for the temp!  I hate that. somad.gif

Wish I was able to build a cabinet bator, but my building skills are that high end. So I am stuck shopping for them. Been looking for a second cabinet bator as we are quickly out of room again.

I'm afraid once I have one, it will just mean another excuse for more birds....  We still have 3/4 of an acre without a fence, building, tree, or garden out back......  I can see anconas.....  Sebastapols out iin the rock fenced area......  Turkeys by the mulberry trees......   love.gif
