That does seem to be a long time.  Bad customer service if nothing else.  They should have sent you an email letting you know the situation or given your money back.

I can't even catch up if I'm off of here for 24 hours. Any longer than that and I wouldn't even try, unless I had lots of free time.

I emailed them over 2 weeks ago and said I was filing a dispute with paypal since there was no way for me to "cancel" the order like they suggested.  Because the money was already out of my account and the transaction was done.  They emailed me back 3 days later and had miraculously found my payment and asked if I still wanted the eggs.  I said yes, that was over 2 weeks ago.  Never heard back after I said I still wanted them.  It's unreal.

I just emailed them so I guess I'll hear back in about 3 days.   That seems to be the turnaround.

Even if they had to add you to a waiting list for eggs they should have emailed you with a date or something of when you could expect the eggs to be shipped by now. They could use a lesson or two in customer service.

LaGenia, it could be a number of things... it is common to suffer losses at lockdown.  If you had a bad fluctuation early on, it could result in losses at lockdown.  If the egg's weight loss is not at proper rate, it can also cause in shell death.  But, if I recall, you had 2 humidity gauges that were giving you different readings?  Too low humidity can cause shrinkwrap, too high humidity can cause membrane to not be brittle enough for babies to break through.

Did you do an eggtopsy to see they internally pipped?

I still want celtic's call's if hers cooperate, but in case they don't I found these cuties. http://www.backyardchickens.com/t/633209/call-duck-eggs-6#post_8488369 And, ok, I already bid on them but it's early, and I had to post so I'd be subscribed and keep an eye on them. tongue.png Now I hope I don't forget when the auction ends, I don't like BYC's auctions.

Yes!  ChickenCrazy12 and I ordered at the same time and they got a ship date and all that.  I don't know what the deal is.  They told me I entered the wrong email address when I paid, and that I should order off their website.  I was like... "I did order off your website."  It's so weird.

But they're the only ones with the silver/lavender anconas.

I don't either.  I haven't even been to their auction in SO long.  I forget about it since it's so confusing.
