These are my notes:

Day 22 eggs start rocking

Day 25-27 air cell dips and shadows develop

Day 28 internal pip

Day 29 external pip

Day 30 hatch (beginning 5:15am)

I noted subtle differences between goose and duck hatching.  The aircell dip and shadows are similar.  The ability to see goosie before external pip is more so than duckies. The pip is the same and in same location, and they zip in same direction, but the way they zip is different.  My goosies were much quieter than duckies.... didn't seem frantic, if that makes sense.  And overall, each step of the process for goosies was slower.

Oh great.  They're slower. Just what I need. LOL.  A bird that is slower than a duck.  I'm uploading pics now.

Egg number one.  The one that always showed more movement and seemed bigger than the other.  About 2 days bigger. The middle line was yesterday afternoon.  The bottom line is now.  

Egg number 2:  The bottom line was yesterday.  It has gone down a tiny bit today, but not enough to mark it.  

They both look good!  Sounds like you are on schedule.  Watch them after you mist.  As they cool off with the misting, they rock a lot.  The dip will get way more dramatic over the next 36-48 hours.

I will totally watch that tonight.  

Thoughts on moving them to the LG tonight or wait another day.  

IF your still air LG is holding steady at 100-101 with humidity in the mid 30s, I'd move them asap.

i feel like i should just sit here and twittle my thumbs.

i cant candle. its only day 5.

i dont have anything hatching.

i don't have any babies.

and i am losing my mind waiting for my geese.

im going to email marry ann and see how her hatching is going. hopefully i can get babies thursday.

i keep checking my email waiting to hear from ideal.

if tsc didnt have a restriction on their min poultry purchase (6) then i would haver fluffybutts right now.

even tho they only had pekins in the duck bin (big surprise there!)
