Thread formerly known as Hatch day is today - Page 1814

The top needs some tweaking.  He's going to make me a door with a handle that I can lift up and also some kind of latch.  He didn't get the right wire so I'm going to reinforce it with the smaller wire in a few.  And then I have to paint everything.  Later I'll use this as a breeding pen when I move things to my parents.

What day are your duck eggs on?.... What breed are these?

I think they're gonners then DG.  Give them one more day.

These are the Saxony. I was guessing on the day because I didn't write it down!  oops.  But I bought them on the 3rd of Feb.. Which was a Friday.. But I thought I set them on that following Thursday, who knows..

When they're done I'm shutting the cabinet bator off.  :(  It needs a break.  (and so do I)  Plus with my girls starting to lay, I can hatch my own duckies!!!  Got 3 more eggs today!  These aren't blue though... so I think they're Ancona Girl.

CG: I'll check out that movie. My daughter would love it if it's about cows.

And I guess I did get the date wrong..

Evelle: The black one was laying. She's almost a year old. And the 2 RIR's my brother gave me and I'm not sure how old they are, I would guess 2 years.  They were laying for him, and for me for awhile.

I think they're pissy.

ETA:  They also went through a really nasty molt about 3 weeks ago.. That's when it stopped.
