Here is a pic of my chicken-duckling and his chicken mother. He's almost 4 weeks old now.

Cocoa that is an adorable picture.

Morning all.

QJ lovely geese in the photos. Have you tried to vent sex yours yet? To have a pair as yard eye candy it doesn't really matter their genders. Either way you will be happy with them and how friendly they are.

Woke up to 6 new ducklings. 2 buff, 3 khaki, 1 silver appleyard
Plus 3 EE chicks hatching.
First Sebbie eggs hit lock down tomorrow and Thursday.

So catch me up please! Still has a ton of eggs set and being shipped. (egg junky)
DG has goose eggs set, did she ever float test the RIR eggs?

Mornin' Jaz.  Thanks for checking on the white vs blue egg.  It was probably just weird luck that my colored ducklings only came out of blue eggs, although I am starting to wonder if one of my b/w is actually tri-colored.  I have 6 white and 3 blue that are going strong on day 9, so we will hopefully get to see again what white vs blue brings from Aurora's eggs.

OH!  And remember the other ancona seller I mentioned. I must have had a serious mental time-out when I set them the other day because when I checked them last night for development, I realized that I had 16 eggs, not 12... and they are all getting pretty spiders!

My menagerie includes 5 horses, 3 dogs, 4 cats, 32 geese (dewlap toulouse & african) and 10 ducks (muscovy, ancona, cayuga & silver appleyard).

You have to be careful with green jello and chicks silly, or they end up like this.
