It's quiet this morning caf.gif

 

I checked Call eggs in the bator last night....I have 5 butterscotch babies growing!  wee.gifI sure hope they make it to hatch and beyond alright, fl.gif

ok morning all.

 

lastnight the babies got moved to the shed hit.gif

im lost with them so far away .

and i dont think they liked it, the were pretty happy to see me when i walked in.

prolly 2 more weeks and they wll move in with the big ducks hmm.png

 

i am not liking my babies growing up, i want my wittle monsters back.

 

prolly another week and the ducks can go to their new home. (<- this one im happy about, flightly little thiings)

April 17th....I set 19 eggs, though.  All of my pastel's were clear, but they are 2011 birds and only started laying on the 13th so I"m not suprised.  Only 5 out of 9 butterscotch are developing, but the other 4 started and quit....so the butters are definitely fertile.  The adults are 2010 hatch, and experienced.

 

ETA:  first batch of eggs of the season...I didn't have real high hopes, thank goodness
