It wasn't bad tasting, but it squeeked on your teeth and you couldn't stand to eat it because of that. So yeah, I'm really not a cheese maker, but I've gave it a good effort. The whey was way worth it though cause the chickens loved it ha ha ha, get it the whey was way worth it. Okay, that wasn't very good, but it's getting late so you'll have to cut me some slack.

 LOL

You let the curd get too hot or cooked for a little too long.  Like an incubator, you must have a dependable thermometer, and accurately measure your time, or you'll be in for a surprise thats a bit unpleasent.

Try Lemon cheese, its ooper delicious!

Why don't sheep shrink in the rain?

Why is there brail at drive up ATMs??

Why are their floatation devices instead of parachutes in my airplain seat???

If a tree falls in the woods and my husband doesn't hear it, am I still wrong????

Ooooops! It was my first go at an actual cheese. I don't have enough goat milk for cheese these days...... The dairy calves are taking it all. It really helps cut down on our milk replacer for the bottle calves though. The good milk replacer is crazy expensive these days like $80 for a 50lb bag and that doesn't last long with two growing calves so the goats are really making it stretch until we can get them weaned off the bottle.

Hey, you are in East central, Kansas. How close to Lacygne, KS are you? It's just 20-25 min from my house and we go over to the lake every summer. Sometimes we just go out that way just to go for a drive, because we love love love that lake and the park around it. You can almost touch the dear out there they are so used to people and they have a heavy population right there in the park. Oh and my personal favorite, horse trails for trail riding!

You think that, but I've done it too and trust me its way worth it come hatch day! I hatched out so many more chicks than I would have if they shipped.
