More eggs! I have a house wren who has nested in the eaves of my coop. Apparently it is a good nursery, I was looking for the cardinals who usually nest there and found her nest instead. They've even got quail beat in incubation time, 13 days. Tiniest eggs I've ever seen, I'll get a pic later, and of the babies when they hatch of course. big_smile.png

Lain!! Your babies are SO cute!! OMG!!

A small flock of ducks (3 welsh harlequins and a rouen) a pair of american geese, a lovely anatiolian shepherd, and 10 ducklings ariving on march 18th!!!!!!

My next toulouse baby has commenced zipping (even though half the shell is off).  The final toulouse baby is resting and gearing up for zipping.


I think africans are about the cutest goslings there are. love.gif

Newflash!  Toulouse #2 is hatched out!  Poor thing tried to zip but got stuck halfway around in membrane on its beak.  So I helped him out.  Then he couldn't push out... so I chipped away a little more from him.  Then, he was stuck on his lower back, so I made him stay in long enough to moisten everything out... then, he hatched all by himself.

 

3 hatched.... 1 to go!!!!!!!!!!!

My menagerie includes 5 horses, 3 dogs, 4 cats, 32 geese (dewlap toulouse & african) and 10 ducks (muscovy, ancona, cayuga & silver appleyard).

Wow... baby #4 (my 219gram toulouse) did not want to be left behind.... he's out with only a teeny bit of help from me.  And he is HUGE!!
