This is right after their swim. 
They are so adorable. They look like they had a fun swim.
That's because I'm hiding DUCKLINGS in the closets! 
Yes.. she tells me, "It'll be fine. She's easy." Yes, easy by herself. But combine her with my 3 yr old and my 1 yr old.. not so easy. Not to mention.. I don't WANT to babysit kids. I stay home with mine to be with mine. I am not obligated to watch other people kids for 20 bucks so you can save money and make money. Really? It's $200 a week here for baby daycare.
Ok sorry.. I'm just disappointed. This is my BFF from childhood. And I'm disappointed and feel taken advantage of. That's all.
One more thing.. I agreed to be the babysitter's (Mother in law) back up. Sure, I'll help if she has something come up. I'm thinking once a year maybe. Oh no... she tells me later that it will be 3 times a month. Something she should have said from the beginning. She said "backup".. in those "rare occassions" that something happen. Knowing the whole time she needed someone 3 times a month.
This is really eating away at me I swear. I need to get over it. I'm just disappointed in the way this went down.

I would tell her to keep the 20, and in exchange take ALL your kids for a half day everytime you babysit so you can get a break.

these guys are just about 2 weeks old.. there starting to fly out of this pen area I think tomorrow I will work on new quail pens for them to go outside. there is about 120 left we will see how many more will sell I really just want to keep 15 of each.
That's a whole lot of quail. 
He is looking good Julie. You are doing something right for sure with this little fella. Love the updated pics as he grows too
Updates from my end.
Still waiting on PR to email with my ducklings.... QJ got her email that her eggs are coming so I know they are filling orders now at least. I'm hoping to get them this month but it could be May like the rest of my ducklings that are coming this year.
My silkie ducklings are coming May 14 with alternate dates the week after.
and My SQ Ancona ducklings are coming sometime After May 1st
When May finally gets here and all my ducklings are in, I'm going to be stuffing duckling where ever I can find a place for them. That will be 30 + ducklings
I better start getting brooders figured out now.
I was so close to taking my horse out for a ride yesterday. I had a dog to groom for a client in the morning, but my afternoon was open so I rushed home and saddled Dandy up and my Mom saddled her mare up then we start hearing thunder in the background and before we could get our bridles on we seen the storm clouds roll in and a cold wind come whirling in so we decided to play it safe and not wind up out on some dirt road in the middle of a storm on our horses. Glad we did, because Wind, Rain, Thunder and lightning all came with the storm.
Thanks! She has quite the appetite, and has learned to crawl on top of her blanket and yell when she is hungry. Quite the demanding little rodent.
I hope you hear about your ducklings soon, can't wait to see the silkies.
Here are my new silky babies. Of the four (of 12) that made it too lockdown, three are here. They are B/B/S eggs, and it looks too me (don't think they photo is as clear) that I hae a black, and blue, and a silver. They are definately not the same colors! Please give me your opinions, my friends.
I'm not very good with blue/black/splash, but they are adorable.
