Why don't sheep shrink in the rain?

Why is there brail at drive up ATMs??

Why are their floatation devices instead of parachutes in my airplain seat???

If a tree falls in the woods and my husband doesn't hear it, am I still wrong????

well

no real update here.

i think the eggs are still looking the same. i had one quitte in the night sometime.

but i think i also had one start to develope so i think theres still 15. tomarrow i will candle good and pull clear and blood rings.

tonight i will candle chicken eggs again and mark which ones are internally pipped.  (keeping a VERY close eye on them)

i have 3 buyers lined up, and i will also be pulling which ones i want to keep.

i have 2 people wanting eggs. almost have 1 order filled.

and hope to save a few eggs to stick back under atleast 1 chicken.

and then fill the other order.

the 2 mutt ducks can leave any day but i was kinda waiting on wing feathers to come in (almost there)

so im selling them for $10 (i think its a pair no quacks yet tho)  and a turtle =) so i can add to my "zoo" lol.

next weekend is the swap meet, and im really hooping to find the 3 things im looking for, but if not i did find someone semi close that has 3 month old blue silkies.

its a zoo here:

12 call duck....2 geese -1 female saddleback pom. ....1american buff.

10 peafowl chicks <3

2 bantam cochins....

5 silkie hens and 4 splash juvis....

6 goats.....2 ponies....3beef cows.

an african grey parrot....2 fish tanks...

6hermit crabs... 3 betas... a turtle

and some guineas (all ages)

Congrats, Whitemountain!!

Dutch, If I recall correctly, my vet & farrier used a poultice of sugar and betadine mixed in sterile water.  Worked great!!

My menagerie includes 5 horses, 3 dogs, 4 cats, 32 geese (dewlap toulouse & african) and 10 ducks (muscovy, ancona, cayuga & silver appleyard).

dg are those guys 8 weeks old yet?

if not they shouldnt leave their mom, between 8 and 6 weeks old is when the female starts teaching their pups manners. even if they are weaned.

plus its actually illegal to sell a puppy under 8 weeks old (regulated by the usda) .

but puppy left with their mom and siblings until 8 weeks old are less mouthy bcuz they learn that biting hurts. and usually have better social skills with other dogs.

X2... What she said...

Also, if that's cows milk it can cause diarrhea and dehydrate the puppy and can potentially be life threatening.

Thank you Shellie!!!

These are the first couple from the first shipment. Only 4 made it to lockdown and 1 has already passed so I am keeping my fingers crossed for three. Plus your others that are in the incubator are scheduled for lockdown on the 16th. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for those ones!

I'm pretty sure I opened these guys too early. Next hatch I will wait an extra day or two.
