so I come home from a long day in town to DH jioning in on a goose hatch-a-long th.gif  and the neighbor girl asked him to add a tiny blue egg to our bator(think it's a robin egghide.gif)       he better get the shelves in my new bator smack.gif

You would call this color Tri-color. It's not the most desired Tri-coloring because it's really more of a penciling. Seems that the penciled ones always come out hooded like that with the collar. Personally I think it has to do with the runner duck ancestry in them. It would be a cull if your breeding Anconas but they are fine to keep for eggs or backyard bug control.

Now I am down to only 2 cayugas & an Embden Gosling, & in the Brooder 1 Pekin, 2 sebbies, & 2 Pilgrims!   How does this happen ??  (for H2OFowl)

Jaz, glad to see you around again. I can't keep track of the comings and goings of birds at you place.

Oh I don't hatch nearly as many.... Or sell as many either. I am just watching my numbers of birds climb. Glad I am done with duck eggs as soon as my cayugas hatch in a few days (except one lonely silver apple on day 8).
