Why don't sheep shrink in the rain?

 

 

Why is there brail at drive up ATMs??

 

 

Why are their floatation devices instead of parachutes in my airplain seat???

 

 

If a tree falls in the woods and my husband doesn't hear it, am I still wrong????

Wow, lol. Wish the turkeys were like that. All 3 left to hatch are slowly but surely moving along though, although they won't hatch for another day at the pace they've set.

Who knows... I have a toulouse egg that got stuck in shipping for 9 days and it is rocking away with visible air cell dipping on day 24.  Go figure.  My 3 dewlaps are also date marked with one that is ahead of the others.  I need to weigh/candle them later today (it's day 21 big_smile.png).  I'll see if anything matches up.

 

But, I am erring on side of extra caution.  I am putting the eggs into hatcher as they begin the internal pipping process.  It is at 75% and I am running a cool mist humidifier next to bator.

My menagerie includes 5 horses, 3 dogs, 4 cats, 32 geese (dewlap toulouse & african) and 10 ducks (muscovy, ancona, cayuga & silver appleyard).

My turkeys havn't done anything.  Wasn't sure about these guys either, since I can't candle them.  Hope I get another one or two, a pair would be good.

Last turkey finally pipped.  One isn't making any progress but.. I don't want to help it.  Sorry.. I just don't.  

 

One duck zipped, waiting on it to push the cap off.

 

2 more duckies I'm sure are going to need me to intervene, but they're fine for now.. maybe tonight.  They pipped up and stopped.  

 

Ugh.

Oh forgot to mention.. the city sewer line is clogged and backing up into our basement.  So gross.. so gross.  Waiting for the city to get here.  Hopefully they will reimburse me for the plumber I just paid to find the problem.. (which turns out really wasn't my problem.. it was the city's.)
