Then I got pulled over on the way home from Easter dinner.  Apparently I have a broken head light.. good to know.  This cop was a DB (starts with a D ends with a Bag.)  I might have gotten lippy with him.. just sayin'.

What a day.

Going to the farm. My dad and the hubs are going to help me finish my coop.  We're completely enclosing the coop.  I'll take pics.

And here are the ducks I hatched for my friend.  (The guy Julie got her/my rooster from.)

Poor QJ!  What a day.  Please tell me your not surrounded by unhappy smells not from your babies.....  sickbyc.gif

I think they take special training for that D. Bag business.  When my cousin became a cope, his whole personality changes when he's working.  Good grief.

I'll be lucky to get any hatches out of these eggs.

Are these the eggs you've waited and waited for?  What a total drag

EyeHeartQuail-  Looks like one is, but the other maybe a cayuga, sometimes they have a wee bit of white on them.

Why don't sheep shrink in the rain?

Why is there brail at drive up ATMs??

Why are their floatation devices instead of parachutes in my airplain seat???

If a tree falls in the woods and my husband doesn't hear it, am I still wrong????

We were COMPLETELY surrounded by unhappy smells.  It was bad.  And then when the city got here they informed us our lines are not even on their maps which stemmed a huge, "Where does their line tie into the city" party.  So now they're coming out Monday with special cameras to try to figure it out.  What a mess.

And I hear ya on the cousin comment.  This guy was a complete Butthead.

The eggs were the ones from PR that I had so much trouble with in the beginning.. how long have I been waiting.. something like 2 months or more?  They are in such bad shape. You wouldn't believe it.  I've never seen eggs in worse condition.

I just hatched out another turkey!  And another is coming.  Had to help the last 2 and boy were they ready too.  No yolk and this last one basically just popped out of there and took off runnin'!

Good experience though.

When I candled last night (yeah, in lockdown, misted sponges right after before closing, and Humidity never went below 70%) some of my turkeys looked very active, so since the buttons from that bator were a day and a half late, I'm just gonna give them another day, and candle tonight again if nothing happening.  I assume my other pheasents aren't gonna hatch, since the one is here.  Too bad, but I guess that means pheasent for thanksgiving dinner.  Having duck today.  big_smile.png
