I use a fine mist sprayer w/very warm water to gently mist my duckies as once they are open enough I know it won't drown them.  I use a very very light hand, and if needed spray a q-tip for harder to reach spots.

Why don't sheep shrink in the rain?

Why is there brail at drive up ATMs??

Why are their floatation devices instead of parachutes in my airplain seat???

If a tree falls in the woods and my husband doesn't hear it, am I still wrong????

ETA:  It does look like some eggs are further along than others in your pic, but hard to tell.  Can you get a closer shot of the eggs??

i will try when i give water and turn eggs at 1 ish.

i pretty much just peeled away the shell of the air cell same as i did with the first 3.

some have their beaks furthe out of the membrane.

one actually you can barely see his beak.

but i havent helped other than pull away shell and wet membrane. everyone is how they were inside the shell before i assisted.

i did leave the back of the shell on so they are "stuck " in there until yolk is absorbed.

good call.  They must have time for that, or you will likely eperience losses.  I think they are still gonna work out for you.  Go duckies!

Happy Easter Everyone!!!

Regarding the pic from last night....

The one in the back has spots of white on the bottom of it's feet and under it's bill.  Cayugas don't have that....right?  I doubt it is a Khaki either.  It looks like a very slight dusty black.  If the other one wasn't beside it you would think it was just regular black.  I might just have to wait it out until they get a bit older.  love.gif
