Just checked my toulouse - total shrink wrap job.  Got the shell open, got membraines (empty of blood) opened, and he stuck his little beak out and opened his eyes and looked at me.  He's back in a bator, but the humidity is a bit low.

Why don't sheep shrink in the rain?

Why is there brail at drive up ATMs??

Why are their floatation devices instead of parachutes in my airplain seat???

If a tree falls in the woods and my husband doesn't hear it, am I still wrong????

Sebbies are active, and have shadows along edges, and so does toulouse jr.  They were not set until 4 weeks tomarrow, unlike Erins which was set a 4 weeks yesterday.  I'm not gonna touch the sebs until tomarrow earliest.  Its still a bit early for them.

If you want ancona eggs still... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE order from Thistle Down Farms!!  I just cannot say enough good things about their operation from top to bottom.  While their flock is mostly b/w they have a beautiful silver duck, and I somehow hatched out 50% colored babies.  Pretty sure I have a blue, lavender and silver in the group too.

I HATE detached/scrambled eggs.  I tossed all of my saxony eggs and all but one single SA egg earlier this week even though most were developing, because the air cells were so screwed up I just didn't feel like dealing with nursing the eggs and hoping they'd make it to lockdown... and then probably need major assistance to hatch.  What are the odds that I will get the opposite gender of my SA baby from the one SA egg still going in my bator?  fl.gif

I'm going to hold off for now, but when I'm ready again it's going to be Thistle down.  For sure!
