Oops.. it didn't work.  About the sebs.   hmmmm.  Dude.. I don't know.  That's a tough one.  today is day 28 right? And what do they look like inside?  Like have they internally pipped yet. 

Is it day 27 or 28 for the sebbies?  Once again, it does not hurt to externally pip a little hole into air cell to see if shrink wrap inside.  So, err on the side of pipping if all the other babies in your bator have shrinkwrapped.

Just me... but I'm more of a hands on hatcher.  Seems like when I am hands off, my hatch % goes way down.

 OK.  I've just been misting him now and then with warm water.  I can get a washcloth section though, and do that.  Do I need to leave a little open space?

Just checked my toulouse - total shrink wrap job.  Got the shell open, got membraines (empty of blood) opened, and he stuck his little beak out and opened his eyes and looked at me.  He's back in a bator, but the humidity is a bit low.

Some GOOSE BABIES !!!! I have hatched 5 American Buff, 3 Pilgrim, 3 Sebbies, 2 Wild gander!

Ok back from the farm.  I'll post some pics but it's NOT DONE.  It doesn't look pretty yet.. so use your imagination.

We basically just almost finished the framing for the wire.  I need to get 4 more 2x4's and we'll be good.  This took ALL day with the digging of the posts and all that jazz.  

Ok, now to the right of this is another 8 feet I can utilize that I will eventually be making breeding pens that go into the run..  (somehow..).. LOL!!

And I still have to paint and plant flowers and stuff.. so it looks ugly right now.

Oh right now.. it measures, 11.5ft x 16.5 ft.  How many chickens you think can fit comfortably? I have a number in my head and want to see if I'm off.

OK, thanks Marty!  Don't get to upset, but I havn't fed my WH in 2 weeks!  They free range all day.  I havn't fed them in 2 weeks, and I STILL get 1 eggs from each hen a day.  Even when I feed them, they stick their noises up, and walk away!! Silly ducks! lol.  I havn't fed the rouens either for a while!  They free range in the goat pasture that has a running creek with small fish in it, those 3 are fed very well!!

Of course I'm going to feed them in the colder months, but for spring 'n' summer... I think I'm set.  What do you think?  The runners will be in the goat pasture, and chicken pen.  I'm getting some buff and khaki runners from sand hill next year.  & I'm getting some runner eggs from quackrrs!! 

 He is a giant toulouse.  Glad he did ok.  Makes me fill better.  Geese aren't like ducks at all.   Im so stressed, I really feell ill.  OF course, seeing all those beautiful dead perfect little turkeys didn't help any.

Silver passed this afternoon but i am loving scotch more and more as the days go by

and babies are still hatching in my chicken bator only 2 of my own eggs haven't done anything yet but i could feel them tapping

Not pipped internally, but they are working the membraine hard, I can see it.
 

Today is day 28, if you count day put in as day one.  I'm probobly gonna peek inside, but not until tonight.  I'll look again then.
 

Now, Dad is here, and its time to eat DUCK!

My update: four pipped. Getting impatient for the rest. Help me keep my hands off the hatcher!

GOIN I hatch my goose eggs the same as my ducks (only incubation time is different)
