I haven't gotten the lecture lately. Hubby's pushing me to sell, sell, sell. Guess that means I get to keep hatching.

I have Ancona ducklings from Worth It and I don't think they're skittish.  So far, they're pretty comparable to the Pekins that I've had.  As long as I don't move really fast and grab for them quickly, they aren't at all afraid of me.  The ones that have been handled the most are super tame.  I don't have anyone else's Anconas to compare them to, though.

I don't really have any experience with Cayugas, Saxony, or SA but I do know they are much more friendlier than the runners. At least my line is anyway, I know temperament can vary with different lines though so I don't know. Since you have the Worth It line and the Thistle Down line do you notice a difference in the two as far as temperament goes?

Oh, I am so with you there!  It feels like we're never going to warm up.  I just took blankets off my horses tonight because they are so itchy from shedding.  I'm really hoping it stays fairly dry for a few days like it's supposed to.

I don't think I could live in WA.  Unless it was in Forks with Edward.  Might make an exception for him.

One city boy husband that I'm converting to a poultry boy, 3 daughters, 3 Mallards, 2 dogs, one cat: and the bator's plugged in.  Hatching addict, BYC addict and you can find me in the forum "formerly known as hatch day is today" with my friends: Miss Lydia, Critterrun, StillMecle, GrannyCarol, JulieNKC, DuckGirl89, 70%Cocoa, Evelle and JazminesZoo.  I love my Gurlz!

Living in WA is like being Pregnant.....

You go through 9 months....   THEN bam you are hit with the MOST beautiful thing you can lay your eyes on, & you forget abut the last 9 months... ENJOY the next 3 months of absolute bliss

Then you get pregnant again..... lau.gif

That was probably a perfect analogy.
