That's where mine came from too. I was very happy with them. I had 5 hatch, 9 made it to lockdown, and had like 20 out of 24 show devepment. I had problems with my temperature, and was thrilled to get the 5 babies I did. I'll take some new pics tomorrow for you. I ended up with 2 black magpies and 3 snowies, they are about 9 weeks old now and I adore them.

This was them a few weeks ago.

It has grown. Hubby keeps digging it out more and adding more water. Guess one of these days it might progress to a pond. roll.png

The little ducklings are 3 weeks old and are already the size of the calls. Notice the EE chick. She's the lone one who was given to me and rejected by the broodies. She lives happily with the ducks, except when they swim and she screams at the crazy things from the edge.Need to email ideal again, really thinking my geese are embdens. No tufts, and already as big as my turkey. She's a midget white, so a small turkey, but still...kind of makes me mad. Stuck with the buggers now, I like them. I want the geese I ordered though. hmm.png Need to clip the calls wings too. Little buggers are already skimming the ground on their practice flights.

Julie,  give the birds time enough, and hubby won't have to dig the pond at all!  LOL

They should make it right for sending you the wrong geese.  I'd call, emal, and send pics.....

I would love it if they were classic romans, I don't really like the tuft, lol. I ordered romans because they are supposed to be friendly, quiet, and small. I emailed ideal with pics to see what they think, but they have to be either tufteds or embdens because ideal doesn't sell classic romans.

Well of course!  Had you had a lousy hatch, with nothing to sell, they'd all be crying for their ducklings!
