Fred is all the things you like about Romans.... If she does hiss(and thats odd)  she runs to the otherside of the yard away from you to do it,lol   We were told that sometimes tuffed throws untuffed.... so I quess we will see.    You might have your very own Squishy!

I emailed ideal with pics to see what they think, but they have to be either tufteds or embdens because ideal doesn't sell classic romans.

Me too!  When I took the pics of the button quail next to the dice, it really helped show how tiny they are.  Are those chicks dwarfing the call ducks only a few days old???  Holy Moly!

Why don't sheep shrink in the rain?

Why is there brail at drive up ATMs??

Why are their floatation devices instead of parachutes in my airplain seat???

If a tree falls in the woods and my husband doesn't hear it, am I still wrong????

Just had to put squeeky (the toulouse goose) in the "misplaced" baby brooder with 2 pheasant, 2 silkies, 1 button quail, and now a goose.  All are being fed gamebird starter, so no issued there.  All hatched in my bator, so no diesease.  hope he likes it, I don't go pick bunch of ancona ducklings from my mom until Sunday.  Then, they are all gonna be brooder buddies.

Poor babies, tough week for the new hatches.  Lost 8 turkeys, 1 silky, 2 button quail, 3 sebastopol and 1 toulouse.

(sigh)

That would be so awesome....I'm dying here waiting on my first ones to hatch!  I'm with Marty...the coffee cup for a swimming pool would make a very good size comparison.  Thank you, CG bow.gif

PLEASE HELP!!!!

We have been in town all day and just got back, my Call duck male is throwing his head over backwards and falling over??? They have not been free ranging, but have been locked up in a run, they have only been given chick starter (all I have available). I recently read that that the chick start lacks something that the ducks need more of or something. Could he just be deficiant in something? Please help I do not know what to give him? I do not really have anything for waterfowl to treat him with. PLEASE HELP!!!!

Is there anything I can give him, and what do I need to give the other ducks so they will not get the same thing? THANKS FOR ANY HELP!

How old is the baby?  It sounds like stargazing, which is a vit b deficiency.  Give it 1 drop of polyvisol (without iron)... 3 times a day.... great chance it will be cleared up in a week if it just onset today.  If it is eating well, I chop up teeny pieces of kale and toss the polyvisol in it.

My menagerie includes 5 horses, 3 dogs, 4 cats, 32 geese (dewlap toulouse & african) and 10 ducks (muscovy, ancona, cayuga & silver appleyard).
