If you decide to sell your giant toulouse(S), let me know first.  Might be worth sending you a heat pad and little shipping box for them.

Why don't sheep shrink in the rain?

Why is there brail at drive up ATMs??

Why are their floatation devices instead of parachutes in my airplain seat???

If a tree falls in the woods and my husband doesn't hear it, am I still wrong????

I really do. This neighborhood isn't what it used to be. The worst part is he would NOT take the hint. After he finally realized I wasn't going to sell them he said I'd like a puppy if you breed them th.gif. I told him I'd like to be a size two but I don't see either one of those things happening and walked back in the house.

You have GOT to move.

I might take you up on that at some point.  Or I might just buy an adult male for Fiona.

Not sure yet, honestly. idunno.gif It depends how long it takes me to figure out who's what and how long I have to feed the piggies, lol. I've already caught one strutting, and him and my favorite lil guy have funky wings compared to the others. Their primaries are longer and stick down like a tom's already, so I'm hoping I have 2 boys and 3 girls but need to look up and see how old they need to be to know for sure.   If you guys want to hatch your own and haven't decided on a breed I highly recommend the seller I got them from if she is still selling (http://www.backyardchickens.com/t/634478/for-sale-turkey-eggs-and-african-goose-eggs). Bought 6 eggs for $27 with shipping, got 8 (packed wonderful, only 2 loose aircells no broken aircells), had 8 develop, 7 hatch. First time incubating turkeys, and in a staggered hatch with many other types of eggs in a still air lg.

th.gif I agree with QJ, time to move. Kansas City is a very friendly place ya know. wink.png

Marty, it is my biggest toulouse and a smaller african (they seem like buddies).  And I would TOTALLY figure out how to ship them to you if you wanted them!!!

My menagerie includes 5 horses, 3 dogs, 4 cats, 32 geese (dewlap toulouse & african) and 10 ducks (muscovy, ancona, cayuga & silver appleyard).

I know.  My goose hatch ended up with 4 in the hospital, and 2 walking (or creeping) out.  It is tough.  Please don't give up on yourself, QJ.  maybe some of your ducks will be in sitting mode next season, and you can slip some eggs under one of them.  Or, you'll just have better luck.  Its been a rough hatching year for everyone.  I'm gooseless now, and I want to be alone in it.  I hope that wee baby makes it for you, and restores your faith in yourself.  If you can hatch  humans, you'll get geese right eventually.

Oh yes hun they'll be with me until the day I die. He'd have to pry them from my dead cold hands old.gif

I don't want an african.  How are your new Erin eggs looking?  If you get a couple going there, and aren't gonna keep them, maybe I'll try to get those.

None of my WH cross eggs hatched! They both died.... Well, I had to cull one. He was disformed or something... Something wrong with that baby... but still...

Weirdness. Lots of weirdness. I'm hoping this next hatch will go better than the last one.

On that note, the first pipper of this batch is DG's NEW LAYER!!!! I hear it tapping away! celebrate.gif

Hubby just told me I was getting a bunch more incubators for my birthday. Honestly, I can stagger a month's worth of hatches in two, do I really need more space that I will be obesssivley forced to fill with more expensive hatching eggs? ep.gif

I sold 3 Rouen ducklings today! $10 for the 3. I only charged $9, but she said I should keep all $10. then I have a lady coming to get 2 ducklings later this week. A pair.of rouen babies for $8. So far, so good! big_smile.png
Not much hatching for me after this though! Mom said I'm not alowed. Oh well! This summer I will be hatching more!

No more hatching? Hope she gives in sooner rather than later. But you've gotta listen to her. If she says no internet and you keep getting caught online, she's not going to let you hatch...

Well, my weak duckling passed today while I was at work. Sometimes I wonder why I bother trying to save the weak ones, but I can't help but want to give them all a chance.

I'm impatiently waiting for the new batch of eggs in the hatcher to do something. One pip so far. Getting impatient. I need fuzzies. fl.gif
