I recently started my dogs on Taste of the Wild...no fillers at all, actual meat. I balked at the price, but no longer.....the dogs don't have to eat very much to be satisfied, and yep the poop is reduced. So actually, I'll end up saving money on this feed, and they like it. I've been putting wheat germ oil on their food for a couple of months and their coats are awesome, and no dry skin.

We are on day 30!! I candled one and saw movement but the guinea egg that is due to hatch any day didn't seem to be moving.
I have both digital, and regular ones in my bator with another digital sitting on top of the bator for external temp and humidity.

I'm sorry about your little goosie, GQ.
I don't know how you all stand it. I feel wrung out, and I don't even hatch!
Love all the wolf dog info. That is too cool.
QJ--that puppy is too freakin' cute. Need new pics, though. I'll bet she's grown already.
I agree on the Nutro food. We've tried just about everything, and that's a good one. We have a lab with super-bad arthritis, so dog food is a priority at our house. We also do a little raw (frozen, from the store, the germaphobe in me can't handle raw meat on multiple surfaces). It's mostly as a special treat. Right after the pet food scare, we made our own food. Boiled chickens, hard boiled eggs, whole cooked carrots, green beans, etc. Then we used a grinder for the whole thing. Bones and shells included. The dogs loved it. It was disgusting to make. We lost a dog to bad food, and it scared us really bad. That was Annie, if you've read my rescue website. Loved that dog.
Julie, my little turkeys are doing awesome, and I think I've got one starting to strut, too! Last weekend I thought they had funny looking, too-long wing feathers, too, but now they seem to have grown into them.
Yep....Grand Lake. It's about an hour north of me....one of our largest, deepest lakes.
