I've seen the story on Giant George!  Maybe national geo or something like that.

I'll get some updated pics. And no we haven't named her yet. lol.  Nothing has hit us just right.  My husband keeps trying out names on her.  So far we have "Toli" (for Anatolian)  and "Fly" (from babe).  We watch a lot of babe.. But I don't know.. nothing seems perfect yet.  I could name her sofa yes... or shoe.... Or barbies.... or cuddles... or "diddle on the floor".... or "bite baby's butt"... the list goes on. LMBO!

Beautiful fox.  They are such awesome creatures.  (on the outside of my pen)

My daughter's Shepard mix has an uncanny ability to step on my feet.  That really hurts.

QJ--updated puppy pics?  Have you named her?  Since she's showing interest in your furniture, you could name her Sofa.  lau.gif

We've got a fox (or maybe a pair) hanging around, eating field mice.  Yay, something new to worry about.  It's beautiful, though.DSCF7270.JPG

Are you keping all the saxony girls? Or selling one or 2? And your keeping a drake im guessing? I would keep both, and wait to see which would be a better breeder.

Ohhhhh.. I thought there were only 2 girls.  My bad!

I wondered if I sold a pair, and then the drake separate.  Also the parents are SQ Holderreads.. don't know if that matters.

If I were a goose I'd never want to leave that place!  The dandelions are going to be gone in one day!

in both pics im standing at the back of the pen.

both sides have a 50ft roll of chain link.

and there is a gate on the far side of the white shed.

the pen where the ducks are is going to stay up. incase i need to pen them in for any reason but the gate will be open for everyone to enjoy the grass when the geese move in

Fabulous!  And look at all those yummy dandelions!

We have a fox that lives in the back of the neighbors yard. Apparently there is enough natural food, I've only seen it a few times and it's never bothered me or the birds. The raccoon on the other hand have gotten a few, and possums haven't messed with them but would devour all their food at night for awhile.

I missed it!  But that sky sure was something here for about 20 minutes.  From here looked like a huge storm moving in!  Hubby is a GM for a  concrete/asphalt company and he obsesses about the weather, so we were staring at that cloud for awhile this morning.  But then 20 minutes later.... sun and beautiful.  (cue missouri weather eye roll.)

and thanks guys

we will hopefully get the pen done tonight

and i will start by letting the geese spend a day or 2 in the duck pen so they realize they live with them now before turning everyone out.

Hey DG.. if you keep a girl from that litter, don't you have to get a boy from an outside source to breed them?  Or how does that work?  I know nothing about breeding dogs.

I was also thinking about selling a mallard pair. Just thinking though.  I want to get out of the flying duck situation.. but I'm attached to beaker and bunsen.  Beaker isn't laying yet though.. I don't think.  But that's okay.

CG: I remembered that.   When you posted that awhile back I remember thinking, "that's my dog name."  lol.. But I want to save that name for my future border collie.  I know that 's dumb.
