Did you have fun? We haven't taken a family portrait in forever. We're more of a Addam's Family now  tumblr_m2r7j3ISKD1qk95ino1_500.gif

I was worried I'd have missed you Kevin.  We just got family portraits taken, and it ran over a bit.  The girls are real hams.

Helen: Daria, do you have to look at everything in such a negative light?

Daria: Could you possibly be referring to the harsh light of reality?

Ok... so let's think this through.. If you sell, and get more eggs.. aren't you in the same perdiciment at the end of 28 days?  Or are you wanting different stock.

It IS long!  OK thanks for confirming that.  I suggested something more like Memphis, or Nash (ville).. At least we're getting closer to a name now though.

Hey Kevs!

I'm not sure if you really want to know... was going to try and take photos. I think my postman is a sadistic devil. And it wasn't just your eggs, but everything I got the same day was about 80% scrambled.

Oh NO!!!!   How very uncivilized of them.  I'm sorry the eggies didn't cooporate.  I feel bad, since mine are doing great.  I guess we'll have to mark the next ones skunk oil, and rub a bit on the corners of the box.  Thats what my sister does.  she marks every box as glass bottles of skunk oil : fragile : breakable.  Then with a bit of the oil (they actually sell it in hunting stores) dabbed on, it makes them very cautious.

Why don't sheep shrink in the rain?

Why is there brail at drive up ATMs??

Why are their floatation devices instead of parachutes in my airplain seat???

If a tree falls in the woods and my husband doesn't hear it, am I still wrong????

I want more from the same seller. The thing is... I want MORE from the same seller, so I'm taking my "profit" in additional eggs.

Of course, they're going to get delivered to my workplace if I have a say in it, which will hopefully cut down the carnage. Three deliveries last week. The one with the iffy packaging... well... I think I have one keeper out of 10. But the good packaging... 2 keepers? barnie.gif

It's not always the senders fault. I think I have an evil postal worker handling my mail.

I'll take two dozen marked and scented accordingly! Nobody would be shocked, my husband's outdoorsy.

Who did you get these Saxony from?  Wasn't it German Store Girl?

Also.. if you want more stock from her.. just keep a couple hens and drake and you'll have more in 6 months.  Or at least keep a pair to continue growing and get some eggs to hatch as well.

OR keep a pair and get some from a different breeder for unrelated pairs.
